Rahil’s Museum of Digital Artifacts is a repository for archiving and exhibiting Rahil Static’s design work, explorations, ideation processes, research, stories and perspective.
It is an experimental playground where all kinds of ideas are thrown around in an effort to find the best ones. The website itself will see a lot of changes from page to page, old concepts will evaporate and new ones will emerge, but they will all be documented to show progress.

Reason For Existence
When I started designing back in 2020, I was guided by passion, love and appreciation for the medium.
Working professionally over the years, I lost touch with what made it so special.
I am grateful that I get to work in this industry, but the average 9 to 5 design job doesn’t always allow for unrestricted creative expression.
As a result, this museum is a safe space to exhibit all my creative experimentation and storytelling, it serves as a reminder as to why I fell in love with this in the first place.
No AI used in anything displayed here. This museum and its owner (me) respect human craftsmanship.
The Van Gogh Connection
I can give you so many reasons as to why I chose to modify Van Gogh’s ‘Kop van een skelet met brandende sigaret’ and turn it into the logo for the museum.
I would like to leave it to interpretation... study the painting and its context a bit and you might find the answer.

Vincent Van Gogh is one of my favorite painters/artists of all time. I am deeply inspired and moved by his work - it has this emotional layer to it. There are many who can paint, but his work makes you feel something.
I just hope that unlike him, I get my flowers while I am still here.
